Alternatively, you can speak to one of the charity’s specialist debt helpline Advisors by calling 0800 043 40 50. The free, confidential helpline is open Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and on Saturday 9am to 5pm. There’s no need to book an appointment.

That’s because the consequences of not managing your priority payments are much more severe. You should always contact your local council if you are struggling as you may be entitled to help paying your Council Tax.
