Two charities have formed an alliance to tackle the impact of low income and debt

Debt Advice Foundation has formed a partnership with The Rainy Day Trust to help those who have worked in the home improvement and enhancement industry and fallen on hard times.

Current and past home-improvement employees who contact The Rainy Day Trust for financial aid will now be referred to Debt Advice Foundation’s fully-qualified advisers, who will be able to help them identify the solutions available to manage and reduce their debts.

Callers to the charity’s debt helpline who potentially qualify for help from The Rainy Day Trust will also benefit from the new collaboration.

David Rodger, CEO of Debt Advice Foundation said;

“The Rainy Day Trust have been established for a long time and have a long history of giving practical help to those who are really struggling. We are delighted to partner with them and introduce our free and confidential debt advice helpline to those in the home improvement industry as well as vice versa.”
