Debt Advice Foundation passes with flying colours

Quality mark retained after audit

Staff at Debt Advice Foundation are celebrating after successfully maintaining the charity’s Advice Quality Standard (AQS) approved status, a nationally recognised quality mark for organisations who provide free and independent advice to members of the public.

The AQS mark is designed to demonstrate that organisations provide a well-run and good quality service. Services must be client focussed and give the client all of the necessary information required for them to make a well-informed choice.

The AQS is awarded through a strict, independent assessment process, ending in a final site visit. AQS look at many things during the process such as access to the service, meeting client’s needs and commitment to quality.

David Rodger, CEO of Debt Advice Foundation said;

“We are so pleased to have maintained our AQS approval for another two years as it shows the callers who contact us through our debt helpline that we are working to the best possible professional standards.

“As always we will proudly display the AQS logo to show that we are part of the community of AQS holders across the country.”
