What is the Administration Order application process? - Debt Advice Foundation
Q

What is the Administration Order application process?

A

You apply for an Administration Order by completing a N92 form and taking it to your local county court (please note that you’ll need to sign the declaration in front of a Court Officer).

The court will then give your creditors 14 days to present any objections or modifications to the proposed repayment plan. If the court does not receive any objections during that period, the order will be granted.

Any of the creditors listed on your application form can object to their inclusion or the inclusion of any other debt, although an order is not usually refused without a hearing where you can state your case.

Debt Advice Foundation is a registered UK charity offering free, confidential support and advice on any aspect of debt, including Administration Orders. If you need to talk to someone about Administration Orders or would like general debt advice, please call 0800 043 40 50 to speak to an adviser.
