I can’t get an appointment with my local Citizens Advice Bureau, where else can I get debt advice?

Unfortunately, like all debt advice agencies in the UK at present, demand for appointments at Citizens Advice Bureau is exceeding supply with waiting times in some regions of up to eight weeks.

If your local CAB is currently experiencing significant waiting times and you need urgent advice and support, you can call Debt Advice Foundation’s free, confidential helpline on 0800 043 40 50. The charity’s helpline opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm.
