I can’t get an appointment with my local Citizens Advice Bureau, where else can I get debt advice?

Your local Citizens Advice Bureau is a great place to get advice on debt and money matters, particularly if you would like to speak to someone face to face. Unfortunately, like many debt advice agencies in the UK at present, demand for appointments in some regions is exceeding supply, resulting in significant waiting times.

If your local CAB is currently experiencing significant waiting times and you need urgent advice and support, you can call Debt Advice Foundation’s free, confidential helpline on 0800 043 40 50. The charity’s helpline opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm.
