Do you offer debt advice handbook?

Whilst we do provide free online resources (see our debt tools section for more information), we do not offer a debt advice handbook.

This is because complex calculations concerning how much someone can afford to pay back to their creditors and how long it will take to pay back the debt are required to determine which solution is most appropriate (these are usually performed by a computer program). There can also be significant legal and professional implications to choosing the wrong solution, which is why it’s so important that you speak with a trained debt advisor.

Debt Advice Foundation is a registered UK charity offering free, confidential support and advice on debt. Our helpline advisors are available Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm on 0800 043 40 50.
