The charity is always looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to help it tackle the growing problem of unmanageable consumer debt in the UK. It has a number of volunteer positions available across the UK as well as, from time to time, paid roles at its main office in Darwen, Lancashire. As a result of the charity’s broad remit, a variety of roles are available in areas as diverse as counselling and education to research and campaigning.

Current vacancies
PR & Communications Manager (part-time)
We are looking for a part-time PR & Communications Manager to play a long-term role in the future of our dynamic charity.
Our ideal candidate will be experienced in acting as a Spokesperson in media interviews and industry related events. They will be as comfortable writing a PR and Social Media strategy as they are implementing it and will be willing to evaluate and report on results.
Community Education Officer (Voluntary Position)
To go in to primary and secondary schools and deliver the charity’s interactive financial capability programme. Full training and teacher training materials will be provided and all expenses will be reimbursed.
Trustee (Voluntary Position)
The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the charity. The charity’s Trustees are responsible for establishing and developing the overall strategy of the orgainsation and for ensuring that the general running of the charity is aligned with the delivery of its primary objects. The Board is looking for additional Trustees to broaden the existing skill set and help it widen its influence at a national level, particularly within the financial and governmental sectors. Must have a passion for wanting to deliver positive change in the consumer debt landscape. The Board of Trustees convenes once a quarter.
