If you have a council tax or benefit enquiry, you’ll need to contact Derry Council on one of the helpline numbers listed below.
If you’re experiencing financial difficulties, you must make sure you continue to manage your priority payments such as Council Tax, rent/mortgage and utilities, even if it means you cannot meet your monthly unsecured credit commitments.
That’s because the consequences of not managing your priority payments are much more severe. You should always contact your local council if you are struggling as you may be entitled to help paying your Council Tax.
