Scotland’s Public Sector Jobs At Risk From Government Cutbacks
A recent study revealed that council bosses in Scotland are feeling the pressure of public sector cutbacks by claiming 22,000 council workers may lose their jobs. Among the services expected to suffer most are transport and environmental services with 46% of senior managers declaring these areas will endure the most cutbacks.

Among the services expected to suffer most are transport and environmental services with 46% of senior managers declaring these areas will endure the most cutbacks.
Many fear that income shock on such a large scale will force tens of thousands into arrears. As these Government cutbacks hit it is expected more and more people will need to seek independent debt advice to ensure essential living costs and priority debts are covered immediately as well as unsecured liabilities over the longer term.
